Our CRAZY Tuesday Night

Why is it that crazy things always happen late at night when your only option is to go to the emergency room? Murphy's Law I guess. Nobody panic I think that I am okay and I don't really know what happened but I was in so much pain I couldn't function. Poor Tyler, had to get up at 11:00 o'clock and take me to the hospital while Keith listened for Abby for us. (which didn't work out well, when we got home they were sleeping on the couch in the living room). I can only describe the pain as labor which is complicated since I'm not pregnant and I don't think I complained as much when I was actually in labor. Well some blood tests, good drugs, and four hours later I was finally able to get some sleep at home. Drama Drama Drama what would I do without it!!!

  1. Man, I'm sorry Tracy! That sounds HORRIBLE. Where was the pain at? I too often wonder whey things happen on the wrong day. I'm so sorry that you are sick and I hope that you get to feeling better.

Also, too cute about Abby. Why do they always wake up when we are gone?

  2. I was having really bad abdominal cramps and sharp pain in my back on the right side, it kind of felt like contractions but with no relief. I was really scared because I didn't know what was going on. I haven't had a period since June so they think that might have been the cause. I felt really stupid for going to the ER for my period but I needed some relief from the pain.

Keith said Abby woke up before we even left the driveway and wanted to check every room just to see if we were in one of them. Poor girl!! Finally she laid on the couch and fell back asleep with Grandpa on the floor next to her.

  3. I'm still really sorry about that. Are you going to be seeing a regular doctor to get checked up on? Nothing worse than cramping that WON'T END! And yeah, contractions without a break, me oh my! You are a brave woman!

That is too funny about Miss Abby. She sensed that you weren't there. I swear, a 6th sense that girl has! She is too cute.

  4. How scary! I am glad that you are OK and hope it doesn't happen again. I don't know what labor is like, but anything that requires an ER visit is just plain horrible. Why do women have all of the fun? :)

  6. I hope that your doctor can get you feeling better. It is never fun to have to go to the ER especially at night - it always seems so much worse than just going to a doctor during the day. Be sure to call if this ever happens again - we are only a phone call away! I think you need to have a long talk with your doctor and find out what's going on. Love Mom
