Late Late Late!!!
Wow I am a slacker!!! Christmas has come and gone but I will update you guys anyway. We spent Christmas Eve with the Butikofer's and had a good time playing games and hanging out. Christmas morning I was so excited to see Abby open up all of her presents because I was sure this was the year she would LOVE it.... she did like it but not as much as I hoped:( Oh well it was still fun and now I can't wait for next year cause I'm sure it will be even better. After opening presents at home we went over to my mom and dad's house because my brother Troy and sister Laura flew in from Washington. It was so good to see them and I wish that they lived closer so that we got to spend more time together. Luckily they stayed clear until the New Year so we got to hang out alot. I can't believe how big our family is getting it seemed like there were a ton of people at my parents house (25? of us all together, with lots of screamin' children). It was so much fun to see all of our kids interacting with each other you can tell which of them have siblings and which of them need them (ABBY). I won't bore you with all of the stuff we did over the week but I will say we had tons of fun!!! The New Year was spent at home because I had to work the next day, I did stay up to watch the ball drop but that was about it. Tyler made his chicken chili which was delicious, and Becca and Brian and Mike and Kendan came over and celebrated with us, the girls played cards while the boys killed things on the computer it was a lot of fun. I did take pictures this year but Tyler got me a new camera for Christmas and I haven't loaded the software yet so I will add some pictures later. Thank you to everyone for a wonderful Christmas season We Love You all and are so grateful you are in our lives.

Tracy: We really did have a lot of people, but it didn't seem overly crowded. I am glad that we could all be together and enjoy each other's company, great food, and lots of game playing. I need Tyler to write down how to score in countdown. I thought that was a fun game.
ReplyDeleteTracy, we had so much fun with you guys! We love you all and can't wait to pick back up in the summer. I felt like Abby was just beginning to warm up to Troy and I before we had to leave...that bums me out. It is always fun to watch them grow up. Hopefully Troy and I will be able to add to the growing family soon too! xo
ReplyDeleteIt was a lot of fun Tracy to be able to spend time together. Even though we aren't that far away, we never get to see you guys that much-thanks to school and work-so it was nice to spend time.
ReplyDeleteAnd I can't believe how fast Abby is growing. I mean, what is going on there? She's even using the potty. Geez, what happened to your baby?? I guess it's only time for another one...right???
And yes Laura, I hope you and Troy get to add to the children count. We are all anxiously waiting (not to pressure on you or anything)!
